Day 1: Arrival in Chobe (fly to Kasane or Victoria Falls or Livingstone), evening game drive
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and afternoon Boating Safari with SunSet Cruise in Chobe NP
Day 3: Transfer to Victoria Falls, guided tour of the Victoria Falls National Park and evening Game Drive in Private Reserve with Bush Dinner
Day 4: Morning Game Drive in Private Reserve, afternoon: Helicopter Flight over the Falls OR Livingstone Island Tour (depending on season with visit of Devils Pool)
Day 5: Airport Transfer and Flight via Lusaka to South Luangwa, afternoon Game Drive
Day 6: Luagwa Valley: Full Day of Game Viewing Activities (Game Drives &Walking Safaris)

DAY BY DAY ITINERARY:

DAY 1: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA

The tour can start at any of following airports: Kasane (Botswana), Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe), Livingstone (Zambia) and for an extra 300€ we can include the flight from Windhoek.

At the airport you are warmly welcomed by the Kalahari Breeze Safaris-Representative.

You are accomodated in an owner-managed lodge overlooking the Chobe River. Relax and unwind after the long journey and, if there is sufficient time, you can enjoy your first gamedrive in Chobe National Park before enjoying dinner in your lodge.

DAY 2: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA

In the morning you enter Chobe National Park in an open safari vehicle with four-wheel-drive.

The Riverfront in Chobe National Park is counting the highest numbers of visitors of all parks in Botswana. Famous for its large numbers of elephants Chobe attracts animal lovers from all over the world.

On your 3h-GameDrive you are guaranteed to see plenty of wildlife. During lunchtime (around 12:00h)you return to town. During the siesta you have time to refresh and recharge your camera batteries while having lunch and sharing the experiences of the morning.

When the heat of the midday sun is slowly going down and the animals come out their hiding places you get a different angle of the park on a 3h-Boat-Safari with SunSet Cruise. For dinner you are back at your lodge with plenty of pictures and unforgettable memories.

DAY 3: VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE

We transfer you by road to Zimbabwe. After approximately two hours you arrive in the small town of Victoria Falls.

During your time in Victoria Falls you are accomodated in en-suite chalets at an intimate, private retreat located on the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve – a mere 10 minutes from the Victoria Falls. The lodge has 4 chalets only and is perfectly suited to families and small groups looking to book the entire camp, It is the ideal base from where to explore the Reserve and the many fascinating sites of Victoria Falls and surrounds.

The Lodge is located right next to a waterhole where you can observe plenty animals when you are lucky. When you need a break from gameviewing you can relax by the swimming pool.

In the afternoon a knowledgeable guide takes you on an unforgettable experience through the Victoria Falls rainforest, a journey that not only affords a view of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World but provides a great deal of interesting facts about the geology, wildlife and history of Africa’s most famous landmark. Listen to magical tales of local legend while you enjoy the constant spray from the “The Smoke that Thunders”.

The day ends with a game drive in Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve and an unforgettable Bush-Dinner.

DAY 4: VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE

The best vantage point from where to witness this immense mass of Victoria Falls` water is Livingstone Island, the place where Dr David Livingstone first glimpsed Mosi-oa-Tunya (The Smoke That Thunders).

Only five trips a day are offered to Livingstone Island. A boat will take you through the fast-moving channels of the Zambezi, a thrilling journey. Enjoy the island and have snacks and drinks (all-included) while enjoying the view of the falls. Depending on the season you can swim in devils pool.

DAY 5: VICTORIA FALLS TO SOUTH LUANGWA

You enjoy a last breakfast with view on the waterhole. Then we transfer you to the airport where you fly via Lusaka to Mfuwe (South Luangwa in Zambia).

You are warmely welcomed at the aiport and transfered to Kafunta River Lodge. This exclusive Lodge in the heart of the Luagwa Valley is set in the riverside forest on the banks of the Luangwa River and overlooks a game-rich floodplain and the South Luangwa National Park. The lodge offers deluxe comfort whilst being situated in the unspoilt wilderness that surrounds the lodge. A unique experience.

In the afternoon you go on a sundowner drive.

Next to the bar is aninfinity pool and the only natural hot tub in the Luangwa Valley. This unique hot tub is fed from a completely natural geothermal source on Kafunta’s grounds. Here you can enjoy pure relaxation while being presented with magnificent views over the flood plain and the Luangwa River.

DAY 6: KAFUNTA RIVER LODGE, SOUTH LUANGWA

An early morning tea and coffe with a light breakfast is served on the deck before you head on your morning safari (game drive or walking excursion). The lodge has its own pontoon 5 minutes from the lodge and this adventurous river crossing takes you into the more remote areas of the South Luangwa National Park, giving access to extraordinarily good wildlife encounters.

For brunch you return to camp where you have time to unwind and observe the animals around the lodge. In the afternoon you have another exciting afternoon/night safari waiting for you.

Dinner is served on deck. The floodlights offer a great view of the plains.

DAY 7: A REAL WILDERNESS CAMP, SOUTH LUANGWA

An early morning tea and coffe with a light breakfast is served on the deck before you head on your morning safari (game drive or walking excursion).

After brunch we transfer you in the heart of South Luangwa National Park where you will be accomodated in a real wilderness camp.  The camp lies under a grove of mahogany trees on the banks of the Luangwa River.  This is an authentic safari experience not to be missed with amazing wildlife encounters. The views  stretch from the Chindeni hills in the Eastern corners of the Luangwa Valley to the Muchinga escarpment in the West, you are presented with the complete natural boundary of this remote and achingly beautiful wilderness.

All chalets offer open-air bathrooms and magnificent views of the river.

DAY 8: A REAL WILDERNESS CAMP, SOUTH LUANGWA

An early morning tea and coffe with a light breakfast is served on the deck before you head on your morning safari (game drive,  walking excursion).

For brunch you return to camp where you have time to unwind and observe the animals around the lodge. In the afternoon you have another exciting afternoon/night safari waiting for you.

Enjoy a candle-lit dinner under the stars.

DAY 9: DEPARTURE

We transfer you to Mfuwe Airport. For 300€ we can include the flight to Lusaka.
