The tour starts at 07:30h with a transfer from your accomodation to the boating station and a 1h speedboat cruise to the Buffalo Fence. In dryseason or other circustances we might drive you in a 4×4 vehicle to the fence.

At the buffalo fence you meet your private poler which will take you in the next days on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. Born and raised in the Okavango Delta, our polers and guides show you their home which they are very pationate and knowledgable about.

From the fence our experienced polers will take you on a journey deep in that watersystem. Enjoy the peace of the delta in a Mokoro, the traditional onetree-canoe. On the way to camp you stop for breakfast. Then you continue your excursion to the camp where the rest of the team is await you with lunch. After your meal you can freshen up before your guide takes you on an afternoon nature walk where we hope to see more animals and learn about the Delta its plants, animals and the tribes living here.

A journey to the Okavango Delta – deep into Africa’s untouched interior – is like no other. Moving from wetland to dryland – traversing the meandering palm and papyrus fringed waterways, passing palm-fringed islands, and thick woodland, resplendent with lush vegetation, and rich in wildlife – reveals the many facets of this unique ecosystem, the largest intact inland delta in the world.

The Okavango Delta is situated deep within the Kalahari Basin, and is often referred to as the ‘jewel’ of the Kalahari.

For dinner we return to camp. In the evening you sit around the campfire sharing the stories of the day.

DAY 3: On The Islands and in the channels of the Okavango

You are woken up with a warm “Dumela“ (setswana = Hello) and a light breakfast waiting for you. After coffee, tea and breakfast you go on your first gameviewing activity (either a nature walk or a canoe excursion).

When returning to camp you have the opportunity to shower. Afterwards you will be served brunch. In the afternoon you enjoy a second gameviewing activity.

After dinner you once again sit around the fire before falling asleep with the sounds of the bush around you.

Day 4: Last Day in The Okavango

Enjoy a last DugOut Canoe tour and a last bush walk before heading back to town. For lunch you will rest by the riverside. Before sunset you will be back in Maun.

Relax and Unwind and enjoy the view over Thamalakane River before your next adventure starts tomorrow.

Day 5: Heading to Moremi Game Reserve

In the early morning at 6:30h we pick you up from your accomodation in Maun and head straight to Moremi Game Reserve with breakfast on the way.

Now you experience the wilderness and the animals as closely as possible. In open 4×4-safari-vehicles you explore nature and wildlife in Moremi with your personal guide on plenty of game drives as long as you want. There is no limit except dawn.

You camp directly in the park without any fence around you. At any time you can feel safe even if you find yourself within striking distance to wild animals. Your guide is highly qualified and trained by Botswana Guide Association. You sleep in bedded tents with proper duvets. Daily you enjoy fresh and tasty meals. This is possible because a Back Up Team is available 24/7.

We hope to see plenty of animals on the way to camp where we break for lunch before heading on the next game drive. After an exciting day you return for dinner to camp and sit around the campfire listening to the bush and gazing stars.

Day 6: Close Up Wildlife Encounters in Moremi

An early morning wake up with a fast breakfast allows you to go on an early gamedrive as this is the time when the predators are on the hunt.

After the game drive you return to camp where you have the chance to freshen up with a delightful bush shower. The team is already awaiting you with brunch so that you can go on your next game drive as soon as the hot midday sun is over and the animals come out of their hiding places again.

Evening progamm once again is dinner and story telling around the campfire and the unforgettable experience of being during night deep inside the bush.

Day 7: Moremi Madness

And again you are woken up in the early morning with a warm “Dumela” so that after a fast coffee, tea and reakfast snack you can rush on an early morning game drive.

Afterwards you stop for lunch in the lagoons of Moremi before continuing your game drive. You are back in Maun in the evening with plenty of unforgettable memories, stories to tell and pictures to show.
